Your 2-day package begins with an unforgettable hot-air balloon experience. Imagine floating over the city at dawn, the first rays of sunlight illuminating the majestic peaks of the Atlas Mountains. The view is spectacular: the mountains stretch as far as the eye can see, forming a breathtaking panorama.
Day two takes you deep into the heart of the Atlas Mountains for an in-depth exploration. You’ll be immersed in the rich Berber culture, a people known for their warm hospitality. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to discover their centuries-old traditions, reflected in their crafts, music and, above all, their unique cuisine.
Hiking through the Atlas Mountains offers breathtaking scenery. You’ll pass through verdant valleys, impressive gorges and villages perched on mountainsides. Each step offers a new perspective on this magnificent region.
The trip concludes with peaceful moments in nature, allowing you to reflect on the unique experience you’ve just had. It’s the perfect combination of adventure, culture and relaxation in one of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes.
Itinerary:
Day 1 Marrakech from the sky
Early Morning (Before Dawn):
- Pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech.
- Transfer to the balloon launch site.
Sunrise Balloon Ride:
- Safety briefing and preparation for take-off.
- Balloon flight of around 1 hour, watching the sunrise over the Atlas Mountains and the city spread out below.
- Celebration with a traditional Moroccan breakfast after landing.
Mid-morning:
- Transfer back to Marrakech.
Day 2 Exploring the Atlas Mountains
Morning:
- Pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech.
- Panoramic drive to the Atlas Mountains, with stops for photos and views.
- Visit to a local argan oil cooperative run by women, learning about the production process.
Mid-morning:
- Arrive in Imlil, a picturesque mountain village.
- Start a guided hike through the mountain trails, exploring the natural beauty of the region.
Afternoon:
- Traditional Berber lunch in a mountain gîte.
- Visit the village of Aroumd, nestled in the mountains, and interact with the locals.
Late afternoon:
- Drive back to Marrakech.
- Stops en route to rest and enjoy the scenery.
- Arrival in Marrakech and drop-off at your accommodation.
